Marisa Ramírez is the General Patients Coordinator in the Obesity Surgery Center by Laparoscopy. She was Dr. Leal’s patient eight years ago. Her own experience motivated her to take the coordinator’s position in al Obesity Surgery Center by Laparoscopy. “I was feeling depressed, frustrated, and angry with myself and with my life for not having the will power to diet. It was a vicious cycle that never ended. I was eating because I was depressed and was depressed because of the food I was eating.
